Responsibilities 1. Brand management:
  • Be the local champion for the Engel & Volkers brand inside of our company and in the broader community
  • Ensure the brokerage\xe2\x80\x99s brand is professionally presented in all public venues and channels
  • Be the resident expert and key point of contact for all brand and marketing related questions from staff and real estate Advisors
  • Recommend and oversee activities that build the brand and its reputation in our market
2. Serve as a Liaison between Engel & Volkers Ottawa Central and our head office in New York City for all corporate marketing initiatives that involve local brokerage participation and support 3. Marketing tools champion:
  • Be an advocate inside of the brokerage for Advisors\xe2\x80\x99 participation in corporate and brokerage-level marketing campaigns
  • Be an advocate for the use of the Engel & Volkers corporate marketing tools to our Advisors, including the corporate marketing portal, brand templates, marketing apps and CRM.
  • Be an advocate for ensuring that the brokerage and Advisors are using state-of-art industry marketing tools and techniques
4. Marketing Operations:
  • Be the owner of the marketing plan for the brokerage and the marketing budget
  • Coordinate and execute the marketing campaigns/projects offered by the brokerage to our Advisors. Optimize the marketing impact and revenue generated from marketing services/support provided by the brokerage to Advisors.
  • Oversee the preparation and placement of advertising, direct mail and social media.
  • Ensure the development of content and marketing collaterals for marketing and sales campaigns
  • Support the onboarding of new real estate Advisors to ensure they have adequate marketing materials (signs, business cards, web sites, etc.) after joining Engel & Volkers
  • Lead training sessions and workshops to educate staff and Advisors on marketing opportunities and tools
  • Maintain relationships with vendors (printing, digital, etc.) and coordinate with them for marketing collateral when required
  • Manage and supervise the activities and performance of the Marketing Coordinator and any other marketing employees.
5. Online and Social Marketing activities:
  • Manage the Website(s) of the business
  • Manage the social media properties of the business \xe2\x80\x93 Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
  • Optimize online search strategies and online advertising strategy and placement \xe2\x80\x93 Google ads, social media ads
  • Ensure the preparation of excellent online content
  • Assist Advisors with the media-based sales and marketing of real estate listings (properties) such as Virtual home tours, Youtube videos, drone videos, etc.
6. Provide Event Management and Support for:
  • Internal brokerage conferences/meetings
  • Charitable events
  • Other special events
7. Ensure your team provides superior in-office customer service and greeting/reception as required by management including telephone triage as required 8. Assist with the maintenance of a clean and professional appearance of the office \xe2\x80\x93 floors, counters, etc. 9. Back-up of other administrative staff as needed 10. Other general administrative duties as assigned Education and Experience Post-secondary degree in Marketing or a related discipline Minimum 2 years experience in a marketing role, preferably with some supervisory experience. Compensation Total compensation would be a mix of salary and bonus, where the bonus is based on achieving certain sales and marketing targets. The range for total compensation would be $55,000-$65,000. Location We require the successful candidate to work in the office a minimum of 3 days a week at our 787 Bank St location. Drop in to our other two locations. Since this position is responsible for supervising employees and providing management presence at one of our physical Shops located in central Ottawa, working on site is necessary for a majority of the work week. Reporting Reports to the Chief Operating Officer of Engel & Volkers Ottawa Central. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year Benefits:
