We're seeking a Marketing Event & Project Manager to own WorkJam's worldwide event strategy and execution while driving cross-functional project coordination across our marketing team. Reporting to the Director Product and Customer Marketing, this role is critical to our lead generation efforts and brand visibility in the frontline workforce management space.





Location: Remote (Canada or USA) or Montreal, Quebec, Canada





What you will be doing:





Event Management & Strategy



Own end-to-end management of WorkJam's global event portfolio, from major trade shows to regional field events and webinars Develop and execute creative strategies for large-scale events (trade shows, industry conferences, customer summits) Organize smaller regional events, roadshows, executive dinners, and virtual events across multiple geographies Coordinate with regional teams to ensure brand consistency while adapting to local market needs Manage all event vendor relationships globally including negotiation, contracting, and on-site coordination Evaluate new event opportunities across all tiers and regions, making recommendations based on strategic fit and ROI potential Partner with sales teams globally to maximize customer and prospect engagement at events Track and report on event performance metrics across all event types and regions Coordinate event staffing and brief team members on goals and messaging



Marketing Project Management & Cross-Functional Coordination



Drive cross-functional project coordination across brand, product marketing, and demand generation teams Establish and maintain project timelines, ensuring marketing initiatives stay on track Facilitate regular status meetings and maintain project documentation Serve as central coordination point between marketing functions to ensure integrated campaign execution Identify bottlenecks and proactively solve for resource constraints Support Director of Marketing with special projects and initiatives Manage global marketing calendar and ensure alignment across all activities Help optimize marketing workflows and processes



Budget Management & Administration



Track and manage the marketing budget across all programs Process vendor invoices and maintain accurate budget records Provide regular budget status reports to Director of Marketing and finance team Ensure compliance with procurement and finance policies



What we're looking for:



Bachelor degree in Marketing, Administration or related field 4+ years of B2B event marketing experience required, with demonstrated experience managing multiple events independently Experience managing both large-scale events and smaller regional programs Proven ability to work across multiple time zones and with global teams Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Creative thinking with strong aesthetic judgment for brand representation Excellent communication skills for working with executives and cross-functional teams Experience with budget management and financial tracking Ability to travel occasionally for key events globally (approximately 10-15%) Proficiency in project management tools (Asana, Monday, etc.)



What you will bring:



Experience in workforce management, HCM, or enterprise software Knowledge of retail, manufacturing, hospitality, or distribution industries Experience working in or with international markets PMP or similar project management certification

Vos responsabilites :



Gestion et strategie d'evenements


Gerer de bout en bout le portefeuille mondial d'evenements de WorkJam, incluant les salons professionnels, evenements regionaux et webinaires. Developper et executer des strategies creatives pour les evenements d'envergure (salons, conferences industrielles, sommets clients). Organiser des evenements regionaux de plus petite taille : tournees, diners executifs, evenements virtuels, etc. Collaborer avec les equipes regionales pour assurer la coherence de la marque tout en repondant aux besoins locaux. Gerer les relations avec les fournisseurs d'evenements a l'echelle mondiale : negociation, contrats et coordination sur place. Evaluer de nouvelles opportunites d'evenements selon la strategie et le potentiel de rendement (ROI). Travailler en partenariat avec les equipes de ventes mondiales pour maximiser l'engagement des clients et prospects. Suivre et analyser les indicateurs de performance des evenements. Coordonner la participation du personnel et preparer les equipes sur les objectifs et messages cles.


Gestion de projets marketing et coordination
Assurer la coordination des projets entre les equipes de marque, marketing produit et generation de la demande. Etablir et maintenir les echeanciers des projets pour garantir le respect des delais. Animer des reunions de suivi regulieres et maintenir la documentation des projets. Servir de point central de coordination entre les fonctions marketing pour assurer une execution integree des campagnes. Identifier les goulots d'etranglement et resoudre proactivement les contraintes de ressources. Soutenir le directeur du marketing dans des projets et initiatives speciales. Gerer le calendrier marketing mondial et assurer l'alignement de toutes les activites. Contribuer a l'optimisation des flux de travail et processus marketing.
Gestion budgetaire et administration


Suivre et gerer le budget marketing pour l'ensemble des programmes. Traiter les factures des fournisseurs et maintenir des registres budgetaires exacts. Fournir des rapports budgetaires reguliers au directeur marketing et a l'equipe des finances. Assurer la conformite avec les politiques d'approvisionnement et de finance.





Votre profil :


Baccalaureat en marketing, administration ou domaine connexe. Minimum de 4 ans d'experience en marketing evenementiel B2B, avec gestion autonome de plusieurs evenements. Experience demontree en gestion d'evenements d'envergure et de programmes regionaux. Capacite prouvee a travailler avec des equipes mondiales et sur plusieurs fuseaux horaires. Solides competences en gestion de projets et en organisation multitaches. Excellentes aptitudes en gestion et negociation avec les fournisseurs. Souci du detail et rigueur exemplaire. Creativite et bon jugement esthetique pour la representation de la marque. Excellentes competences en communication et collaboration interfonctionnelle. Experience en gestion budgetaire et suivi financier. Disponibilite a voyager occasionnellement pour des evenements cles (environ 10 a 15 %). Maitrise d'outils de gestion de projets (Asana, Monday, etc.).





Atouts supplementaires :


Experience dans le domaine de la gestion de la main-d'oeuvre, des RH ou des logiciels d'entreprise (HCM, SaaS, etc.). Connaissance des secteurs du commerce de detail, de la fabrication, de l'hotellerie ou de la distribution. Experience de travail sur des marches internationaux. Certification PMP ou equivalente en gestion de projet. Ce role necessite une maitrise de l'anglais pour interagir avec des collegues internationaux en dehors du Quebec.
