Job Description

Our Client, founded in 2020, is an exciting start-up and they are redefining how global brands win and retain online customers. They are bringing a unity-like engine for running e-commerce stores. They offer a headless CMS and no-code all-in-one conversion app for commerce merchants.

In today's world where online privacy laws are changing and the use of cookies is becoming obsolete, it is more important than ever that brands and merchants are able to find ways to optimize their stores, attract the right clients, and increase conversion with those potential buyers. My client has spent two years developing an excellent product and now they are looking to grow their sales team in Canada.

What you'll do:

  • You will be a key pillar of their marketing team - you will help build out messaging and positioning, thoughtfully sharing customer stories and packaging use-cases, building out enablement resources and frameworks, etc.
  • Lead product launches, creative campaigns as well as account expansion
  • Constantly iterate on ICP and positioning
  • Market research, customer feedback, and stakeholder input -- building out reports, case studies, webinars, etc.
  • Analyze the results, drawing insights, and making data-based adjustments to improve
  • Have a strong understanding of the problem space and know how our product suite brings value to different touch points
  • Grow and nurture a community of users through WOM, content, events, and partnerships.
  • Organize methods through multiple channels for consistent product feedback.
  • Help the team stay on top of trends and create new trends that position their company in different segments of the market. Drive Gartner & Forrester listings strategically.
  • Create a strong PR strategy that is not reliant on fundraise announcements
What you'll bring:
  • 6+ years of experience working in Product Marketing, Content & Community. Ideally you have a combined hands-on & strategic experience at marketing orgs within startups - if you've joined a startup at seed or Series A before, and played a key role in growing it past that stage, that's a big plus.
  • A passion for brands & entrepreneurs
  • You are a strong storyteller with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You genuinely care about the users because you are one, too
  • You are comfortable building trust and communicating effectively with all kinds of people - from Shopify merchants to DTC Influencers on Tiktok & Twitter.. and more
  • You love software products, and taking them to market
  • You're results-driven with a proven track record of measuring and tracking results and ROI on brand & content, growth, product marketing, etc.
  • You have experience with marketing a wide range of technical and nontechnical enterprise and SMB users and therefore can craft, manage and support both high volume, inside sales process as well as field marketing and ABM
