We think strategically and align our initiatives to help our organization achieve its business objectives.The Marketing Consultant is responsible for providing leadership to cross-functional marketing teams in the development of marketing plans and programs, working for identified lines of business. This role oversees end-to-end development of marketing support materials and programs, directs creative and copy development and works to ensure production and distribution functions are seamless for programs. They are responsible for creating and executing specific sales communication programs to support the identified marketing plans as needed. This position is also involved in providing leadership from marketing with clients on product development including recommendations on market needs/wants and recommendations on how to launch the product to market.
*How you will create impact: *

  • Recommend, plan, write and manage the strategy and execution of marketing communication campaigns and materials which include but are not limited to electronic communication, advertising, point-of-purchase, letters, print collateral and promotional materials, product forms, product sales support, sales promotion, product launches, etc. Identify potential cross sell and prospecting opportunities to exploit through marketing programs.
  • Continually review marketing programs under his/her purview to ensure we are delivering the appropriate suite of programs to our business partners in the most effective distribution channels.
  • Establishes, nurtures and enhances effective relationships with various client groups through planning and directing marketing, communication and advertising strategies and programs, using a wide array of resources and tactics.
  • Lead the creative development of marketing communication and sales support materials including suggesting alternative solutions to communication, design and production issues.
  • Participate in strategic planning activities as a member of planning teams and anticipate, recommend and execute communication activity to support team objectives.
  • Participate in the product/service development and positioning during the creation phase (providing the client voice on whether it is a product/service there is a market for) and the execution phase (marketing programs to launch the product/service.
  • Manage budgets allocated to the execution of marketing/sales support initiatives.
  • Analyze and report on the results of marketing communication/sales support initiatives.

To join our team:
  • Five to seven years' experience in a marketing communication function.
  • University degree (marketing, communication).
  • Skilled in project management, marketing and communications strategic planning, organizing and consensus building. Negotiating and budgeting skills required.
  • Knowledge of the print production process and web communications management.
  • Proven ability to execute marketing programs utilizing a variety of tactics, including direct marketing, advertising, promotion, public relations, sales force incentives, collateral, multi-media, video, web, etc.
