Job Overview: The Marketing & Communication Specialist is a critical asset to the growing Marketing team at Danby. This position supports both B2B and B2C businesses and is focused on creating and managing the digital content across all channels, while ensuring that we have an engaging content strategy that is results-driven. Comprised of hands on day to day social media management of our branded channels, this role also works closely with Sales and Product Management on content strategies for all things digital (web, email campaigns, ads, etc.)You live and breathe online strategies. You love to keep up with social trends and have a strong understanding of content strategies for all platforms. Not only do you enjoy day to day social media management and engagement, but you love to work on long term strategies to grow brands through compelling content. You love to create campaigns and adapt them to varying trends to promote brands. From preliminary campaign strategy, to day to day execution & content creation, you enjoy the entire content management process.You will do:

  • Work with the Marketing, Sales and Product (both B2B and B2C) to develop and execute on content strategies for the brands.
  • Grow our B2B awareness and lead acquisition tactics on our content platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a social media strategy for all Danby's social channels to be managed on a day-to-day basis.
  • Create digital content for our varying channels to ensure high engagement and growth.
  • Adapt, test & analyze campaigns to constantly be evolving our strategies.
  • Establish KPIs, benchmarks and regular reporting for our campaigns, social channels and website content.

You will have:
  • Degree or diploma in Communication, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a content marketing role in B2B or B2C.
  • In-depth expertise of online networks and the unique audience habits of each
  • Strong knowledge of social publishing, listening & reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of metrics & analytics related to content marketing.
  • Knowledge of CRM and Social Media Management platforms
  • A highly collaborative attitude focused on providing the best products and solutions for the team.

Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift

Experience:
  • Digital marketing: 3 years (preferred)
  • B2B or B2C Sales Marketing: 1 year (preferred)
  • Social media management: 3 years (preferred)
