Position Summary
We are seeking a driven and experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to lead and coordinate manufacturing?based projects from initiation to close?out. This role is critical to ensuring each project is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the high standards our clients expect. You will work closely with engineering, operations, quality control, logistics and finance, aligning project objectives with corporate goals.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Lead full project lifecycle: from Sales hand?over through planning, execution and close?out.
Develop, monitor and manage project budgets, forecasts and timelines.
Coordinate internal stakeholders including Sales, Engineering, Service Operations, Procurement and Quality Control to meet project milestones.
Facilitate project kick?off meetings and ongoing progress reviews with internal teams and clients.
Ensure strict compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
Monitor project performance against budget, schedule and quality targets; implement corrective actions as required.
Manage change orders, risk assessments, client communications, parts ordering and staffing schedules with service operations.
Maintain accurate and complete project documentation, including drawings, quality records, test reports and job files.
Approve purchase requisitions, review supplier performance and support procurement activities.
Provide leadership, mentorship and technical guidance to assigned team members.
Participate in after?action reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to raise project performance and cost?efficiency.
Department Interactions
You will interface daily with Service Operations, Engineering and Quality Control to ensure job planning and execution are aligned. You will work closely with Finance for cost tracking and with Sales to ensure scope alignment and change management. You will also engage directly with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to coordinate schedules and resolve project issues.
Qualifications & Experience
Post?secondary education in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or Project Management (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 5 years' experience managing projects in a manufacturing or service?based environment.
Strong mechanical systems/fabrication or field service operations background.
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, ERP systems and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project or equivalent).
Professional certification (PMP or equivalent) is preferred.

Compensation
Competitive salary in the range of CA?$98,000?-?CA?$120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits package.
