The Opportunity: Trout River Industries is looking for a Manufacturing Administrator to join our team. This role is to support our parts manufacturing division at our Bloomfield location. The individual in this position will report to the Manufacturing Manager. Responsibilities: Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Maintaining accurate records of manufacturing data including material and labour consumption.
- Managing work orders including creating, reviewing, adjusting and closing the work orders.
- Analyzing work order activities to ensure the data is captured properly and making any adjustments in the system as required.
- Managing production schedules and coordinating workflow to ensure that products are produced on time.
- Inputting various sources of data into the system including troubleshooting and resolving data discrepancies.
- Coordinating with other departments, such as sales, engineering, purchasing, finance and logistics to ensure that the production processes run smoothly.
- Monitoring inventory to ensure appropriate levels are maintained and working with the inventory team to implement any changes as required.
- Generating production reports on key performance indicators.
- Facilitating communication and collaboration between different teams and departments involved in the manufacturing process.
- Working with the purchasing department with purchase orders requests to satisfy job demands and shop needs.
- Performing other related administration and clerical duties as assigned.
- Good problem-solving skills, resourceful and practical
- Ability to work as part of a team or individually
- Strong office skills including the ability to operate Microsoft Office products
- Effective organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Clear and precise communication skills
- Highly motivated and self-managed
- Ability to prioritize and plan effectively
- Experience with ERP software and working in a manufacturing environment is an asset
