Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manual Osteopath to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide manual therapy treatments to patients, utilizing their expertise in osteopathic techniques to promote healing and improve mobility. This role requires a compassionate approach, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities

Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed evaluations and medical histories Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on manual therapy techniques Perform hands-on osteopathic manipulations to alleviate pain, improve function, and promote healing Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly Educate patients on post-treatment care, exercises, and lifestyle modifications Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Stay current with advancements in osteopathic practices and participate in ongoing professional development

Requirements

Valid certification or license as a Manual Osteopath or equivalent credential in BC Proven experience in manual therapy, osteopathy, or related healthcare fields Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal systems Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina for hands-on treatments Compassionate communication skills with patients of diverse backgrounds Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to maintaining professional standards and ongoing education in osteopathy
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $94.50-$100.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
