Job Description


SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Manager, Workforce Talent provides leadership in the development and implementation of corporate hiring strategies and programs, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, diversity and inclusion. This position oversees a team of Human Resources Business Partners and works closely with leaders across the organization to ensure hiring practices align with business objectives. This role also participates in organizational planning and design, supporting the development of a future-focused workforce.

Position Details

Non-union - This position is permanent full time.

Key Accountabilities

Manage and coach a team of Human Resources Business Partners, setting priorities and objectives while promoting a safe and inclusive culture.

Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with managers, key stakeholders and the HR team to ensure fair and consistent practices.

Responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of talent acquisition strategies and programs that support the achievement of business objectives and ensure an excellent client and candidate experience.

Familiar with collective bargaining agreements, as well as applicable legislation (Saskatchewan Employment Act, Saskatchewan Human Rights Agreement, etc.)

Drive strategies and action plans that minimize bias in recruitment and advance diversity, equity, and inclusion goals.

Research and analyze business unit needs, HR metrics and trends, and emerging practices and make recommendations for improvement.

Identify and implement data analytics and key performance indicators to inform business decisions and to guide the development of strategic planning in talent acquisition.

Other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Human Resource Management, or a related field.

Six (6) years of experience in Human Resources, with a minimum of four (4) years in talent acquisition.

Experience in Workday or a similar applicant tracking system, metrics, and electronic recruiting solutions is an asset.

Exceptional client and candidate service focus, demonstrating strong judgement, communication (verbal and written), and listening skills.

Ability to collaborate, challenge and be candid while maintaining strong relationships, demonstrating emotional intelligence, tact, and ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Strong drive for results, sense of urgency, creativeness, and ability to take on multiple perspectives and provide innovative people solutions.

Excellent leadership skills with the proven ability to lead and motivate team members.

Must have a continuing record of professional development and continuous learning.

A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.

Additional Information

Travel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters, is required on occasion.

A Class 5 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License is required.
