Program Manager, Global Talent Management 12 Month Term

Job Description




Reporting to the AVP, Global Executive Talent Development & Succession, the Program Manager, Global Talent Management is responsible for preparing, processing, and presenting talent data and conducting talent data analysis of key metrics for the HR Committee of the Board reporting including the SVP & Organizational dashboard reports, year-over-year trending, talent development, and succession.

This role works closely with the Global Human Resources & Global Talent & Organizational Development teams to collect talent and succession data.

What you will do

  • Responsible for the preparation, coordination, and maintenance of Global talent data for all operating companies within Great-West Lifeco.
  • Provides oversight and direction to the Global Talent & Organizational development teams to collect talent data for presentation to the Global executive leadership teams.
  • Responsible for the framework, templates, to conduct in-depth analysis and maintain large global talent data sets to create talent metrics and reports using data provided from multiple sources and utilizes statistical methodology to test the reliability and validity of talent reports.
  • Contributes to the annual Talent Insights and Analytics report presented to the CEO/COO\xe2\x80\x99s, HR Country Heads, Human Resources Committee of the Board by compiling and preparing talent data business metrics.
  • Conduct analysis for ad hoc talent inquiries in response to Global HR requests & provides additional support for talent management initiatives and programs, as needed.
  • Provides training for the Global HR teams on the Talent cycle via Team including material preparation and delivery of the training.
What you will bring

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience in HR, business or related field
  • 5+ Years of human resources experience an asset
  • Background or experience in data analytics is preferred
  • Background or experience with project management is an asset
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel with the ability to perform complex data analytics
  • Strong detail-orientation and able to advance multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with an ability to communicate with various levels
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of data and information
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office PowerPoint and Word
