Under the authority of the Director, Financial Resources, the manager of information resources manages all activities related to the integration of information technology and the optimization of the infrastructures used in compliance with the guidelines, rules and best security practices issued by Head Office.

The manager plans and oversees the development and mobilization of the information resources team in order to meet the challenges inherent in this position. He/She assumes the management of human, material, financial and information resources under his/her responsibility.

Main responsibilities

  • Ensures the proper functioning and optimization of the infrastructures supporting the systems and applications (these infrastructures include the server park, the workstation park, local and wide area telecommunications networks, security equipment and software, applications and databases as well as storage units and backup copies)
  • Ensures that backup copies of systems, applications and databases are taken according to established schedules
  • Manages, in collaboration with head office, all interventions related to the integration of infrastructures, equipment, systems, applications and data in order to facilitate the interoperability of information technologies and the sharing of information for users
  • Coordinates work relating to the optimization of the equipment made available to users to support them in carrying out their daily tasks
  • Maintains a high level of client satisfaction by offering quality and secure services
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or combination of experience and training deemed equivalent
  • Five (5) years of experience in the health and social services network
  • Experience in the implementation of IT projects
  • Two (2) years of experience in managing a department or team

Status: Permanent Full-Time
Salary: $74 481 - $96 826
