Short Summary

As a key member of the Marketing and Communications management team, assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of the CN Tower marketing plan and budget in compliance with long-term strategic goals; through the disciplines of marketing and communication., work to maintain and foster brand aligned partnerships that support organizational objectives and positioning; reinforce the CN Tower\'s reputation as a cherished national landmark, symbol and premier celebration destination and as a values-driven company committed to corporate social responsibility; drive audience engagement and incremental attendance and revenue for the CN Tower and its business units.

Communications

Work with Director to develop and implement internal and external sales and marketing messages.

With Director, manage the relationship with advertising and public relations agencies to develop the creative and media strategies, based on research and feedback.

Assess and gather customer feedback, gathered internally and report on trends. Use analysis to develop action plan strategies for service gap analysis, future training and development needs.

Digital/Social Strategies

Devise strategies to drive online traffic to website, improve usability, design and content

Track conversion rates and make improvements to website

Develop, plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email and social media campaigns



Manage online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness

Identify and recommend future campaign improvements by understanding the emergent of digital marketing tactics, channel metrics and best practices

Ensure online marketing and sales initiatives are executed for the best customer experience

Stay current with industry trends and introduce/manage new social media properties

Write, edit and proof all digital copy to ensure quality

General Marketing

With the Director, create advertising media plan for the fiscal year

Manage development process and execution for all advertising plans and creative campaigns

Participate in creation of consumer promotions and event programming

Manage Tower image bank and requests for use of image

Ensure Tower brand is accurately represented in the marketplace

Qualifications

• A relevant college diploma or university degree in marketing, sales, communications or equivalent is preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of related experience in sales and marketing is required, with knowledge and/or experience in the hospitality or entertainment sectors.
• Comprehensive understanding and familiarity of sales and marketing processes.
• Superior organizational skills necessary to manage large volumes of business and opportunities from various sources and to coordinate multiple projects.
• Proven successes at financial performance enhancement.
• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
