General Summary:

The Marketing Manager will support the sales and marketing team with customer facing assets promoting Taro\'s specialty products and patient support programs. You will work to keep our customers and Sales Team informed through effective and timely communication strategies including digital, social media, marketing events, conferences and educational programs. You will create and develop promotional and sales tools to effectively achieve and exceed sales targets while leveraging your marketing experience to enhance our customer facing assets and initiatives.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop communication plans by segment getting the right message to the right customers at the right time through the right channel mix
  • Manage external agency partners to optimize the delivery of promotional tactics, programs and materials
  • Optimize Omnichannel Marketing
  • Manage social media accounts and posts related to the specialty portfolio
  • In collaboration with PSP Manager designs and execute advisory boards to gain market insights and feedback from key stakeholders
  • Periodically meets with top opinion leaders and establishes good rapport with them
  • Assist with planning and implementation of quantitative and qualitative market research initiatives to develop market understanding and competitive activity
  • Assist with product/category positioning, key messaging and POA development in collaboration with sales
  • Lead the planning, design and organization of conferences, speaker symposia and educational meetings
  • Assist with training initiatives and regular team meetings as required
  • Key Performance Indicators development and tracking
  • Develop training on key materials with support of a training consultant
  • Support business review presentations
  • Provide support with customer service inquiries as related to marketing activities and events
  • Support the annual sales and expense budget process
Qualifications / Experiences Required
  • University degree, MBA is an asset
  • Has worked in a pharmaceutical company, or related field, for at least 3 years as Brand Manager, or Sales Representative, or Sales Supervisor.
  • Specialty experience an asset
  • Soft skills: organizational and analytical skills; ability to work in a specialist area; excellent communication skills; digital marketing /market research /selling skills are desirable; acting for change and able to co-operate transversely; striving for results; committed to customers; able to motivate and empower workgroups; self-awareness
  • Understands marketing and sales regulations
  • IT tools: MS Office - intermediate level
  • Languages: fluent English, French an asset
Working Conditions:
  • Generally good working conditions
  • Travel as required
