The purpose of this role is to develop and execute integrated marketing communications plans for Questrade Financial Group\xe2\x80\x99s products, services and lines of business.

The Associate Manager of Marketing Communications supports the Manager and Senior Manager, Marketing Communications in developing programs and initiatives designed to assist in building go-to-market plans, which help educate, engage and empower our prospects and customers to understand our products/solutions, elevates the brand, and drives new customer demand.

This is a highly cross-functional role which requires strong partnerships with our Product Management, Brand, Design, Content, Technology, and Customer Experience teams. The role is responsible for managing marketing initiatives from concept to execution, including brand implementation, project schedules, and seeing initiatives efficiently through to completion.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Synthesize consumer insights, market trends, and competitive landscape to drive marketing decisions
  • Perform market research, and competitor research to identify marketing communications opportunities and threats.
  • Develop integrated marketing communications plans to promote Questrade\xe2\x80\x99s products and services.
  • Provide hands-on, end-to-end management of campaigns and programs including conception and drafting of creative briefs, planning, execution and reporting
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and execute all marketing and communications plans that are integrated consistently across all communications channels including, digital, social, broadcast, print, PR, and out of home, that demonstrably \xe2\x80\x9cmove the needle.\xe2\x80\x9d
  • Monitor performance of marketing programs, understand and analyze key marketing metrics to ensure campaigns are meeting expectations.
  • Ensuring all creative assets are trafficked with accuracy to the social and digital teams
  • Manage legal and compliance reviews, claim substantiation and on-going documentation
  • Support Questrade\xe2\x80\x99s Mission, Vision and Values in all interactions, plans and activities

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of progressive marketing communications experience in consumer-based marketing roles
  • Proven experience driving results
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality deliverables.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate flexibility when re-prioritizing is necessary
  • Highly organized with ability to handle multiple projects independently
  • Ability to take the lead and drive successful completion of projects
  • An understanding of data and how to use data to perform analysis and make informed decisions.
  • Customer-centric attitude
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Incredible attention to detail.
  • Home and auto insurance related experience
