Department Overview The Credit Cards & Personal Lending Finance team, within Canadian Personal Banking (CPB), is a high impact team that supports the development and achievement of financial and strategic objectives for the businesses we support. The team leads the forecasting and planning process, prepares insightful monthly management reporting, value-added analysis to the senior management team on a diverse range of financial and business matters.
Key areas of focus include:
Manage and support the Credit Cards and Personal Lending Journey project portfolios including resource planning tracking and providing funding envelope reporting and analysis
Manage and support the annual Plan and quarterly Forecast cycles for the Credit Card and Personal Lending Journeys
Be the Finance key point of contact for the Cards and PL business and Support partners on Journey related topics
Facilitate financial and business insights with recommendations that enhance short and long-term economic value for the business
Maintain industry, external & internal business awareness, recognize & anticipate trends, identify issues & opportunities, and recommend actions that will support business and forecasting cycles
Support monthly P&L reporting and forecasting activities
Actively support business with strategies/ ideations, business casing, identifying and solving accounting implications of initiatives, partnerships and innovations being explored by the business
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Manager role supports the development and achievement of Credit Card financial and strategic objectives. The role requires excellence in a management reporting environment, with particular focus on value-add reporting of results, forecast, business case and business partner decision support, strong relationship building skills
The role has a number of accountabilities which include, but are not limited to the following:
Supporting the Credit Card and Personal Lending Journey project portfolios, consolidating and maintaining monthly reporting and coordinating Forecasting processes to ensure completeness and clear concise understanding of budget and spend
Serve as the Finance subject matter expert on the Credit Card and Personal Lending Journey related budget, while demonstrating a holistic understanding, on key components of the Canadian Personal Banking (CPB) P&L
Conduct analysis of monthly results and provide analysis and commentaries on fluxes while investigating any issues
Support P&L management reporting and forecasting of portfolios
Participate in developing and implementing new financial models, methodologies, and frameworks to support ongoing reporting, controls, and analysis
Build and manage strong relationships within Finance and across our multiple stakeholders including business unit leadership and broader functional groups at TD to draw upon organizational resources to deliver results
Provide critical decision-making support to the business on projects and initiatives, including modeling, thought leadership, and professional judgement, ensuring the appropriate financial and accounting considerations are represented, and engaging proper stakeholders (e.g. Chiefs APA, FinOps, TBSM, Risk Management, and other segment Finance teams) as required

Job Requirements
CA/CMA/CGA/CFA/Business degree, with 5+ years of Finance experience
Process-oriented with a focus on development, improvement/enhancement and transparency
Organized and detailed oriented with the ability to manage deadlines, multi-task, be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and ad-hoc requests in an environment with tight deadlines
Proactive self-starter with the ability to identify process issues and to quickly and effectively resolve as required
Highly motivated / enthusiastic individual, who can \xe2\x80\x98get things done\xe2\x80\x99 in an organized and customer focused manner
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and organizational awareness
A team player with the ability to influence and motivate others
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to interpret and present in a concise and impactful manner
Good knowledge of TD Finance systems (e.g. Hyperion EMRS/OAC) and solid understanding of accounting and management reporting principles
Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (particularly Excel and PowerPoint); knowledge of Tableau or other reporting tools is preferred
