The Manager, Finance Systems will be responsible for adopting best practices, streamlining existing processes, and providing support and analysis for the implementation, enhancement, and upgrades to financial and related integrated systems. This position will support the Finance organization, and help design, test, build, and maintain business processes and reports needed to close the books and provide operational metrics. As we are completing a finance transformation, this individual will also be a key contributor and partner on development of new processes, testing, and support of both systems. The Manager, Finance Systems will:

  • Work closely with Finance leads to help implement Sage 300 solutions that address the business needs. Functional areas include General Ledger, AP, AR, Revenue/Commission reporting, Costing, Fixed Assets, Forecasting, Budgets, and Reporting.
  • Identify needs of Practices and create reports based on business needs.
  • Identify efficiencies available to end users through Sage 300 reports and processes.
  • Streamline the month end process.
  • Provide support and training to end users surrounding Sage 300 Financials and reporting functionality.
  • Manage a team that will troubleshoot and resolve Sage 300 production issues.
  • Assist & coordinate system upgrades.
  • Work with IT and other business unit Practices to ensure Finance participation, and support on cross-functional projects.
  • Assist with training and rollout of a new ERP system/EPM system.
  • Ensure the maintenance of all security requirements for Sage 300 and Caseware.
  • Ensure up-to-date documentation of system functions, processes, and capabilities.
  • Be a key developer, contributor, and support for annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Support the current new sales pipeline reporting and communications to the sales & distribution channel.

All-star candidates will have:
  • 5-7 years of financial systems and process experience including financial planning and analysis, reporting, and accounting.
  • A CPA designation would be considered an asset.
  • Completion of a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline ? or a combination of education, training, and experience deemed equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the group benefits industry would be an asset.
  • Experience with Sage 300 , BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), SQL, Visio is considered an asset.
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge, specifically Excel and Office 365 online collaborative tools.
  • Experience with Workday, Oracle, Concur, ADP would be considered an asset.
