The Finance Team manages the performance and risk profile of Bell, ensuring the needs of customers, investors and employees are balanced with long-term business success. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute plans that help the company achieve its strategic objectives and ensure financial sustainability.




The Bell Canada Finance team is seeking a motivated Finance Manager with proven finance & leadership skills, who desires to work closely with finance and Customer Operations business leadership teams in a challenging role. The team is seeking a high energy Manager to help meet targets in this fast paced, highly competitive marketplace. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to work in a high profile, dynamic and challenging environment with opportunities to interact with Bell senior leaders and influence the strategic planning process for all business units under Customer Ops.

Key Responsibilities


  • Facilitate and guide Business Executives to identifying outsourcing expenses and streamline all business units to provide insight into Financial results
  • Prepare financial presentation materials for executive reviews. Communicate key trends and observations; make recommendations and champion opportunities to improve performance
  • Provide financial forecast on outsourcing portfolio by understanding the impact of business drivers
  • Provide analysis on call capacity/outsourcing mix insights, and unit rates by segment, by geographic regions/vendors and identify risks and opportunities
  • Accountable of financial results and control of ~$400m of outsourcing spend
  • Maintain D&A for vendor/segments subject to IFRS15 (actual/forecast/budget)
  • Performance management of vendor Master Service Agreement (MSA) of a specific vendor
  • Process improvement of all vendor related expense including invoicing, accruals, investigations


Critical Qualifications


  • Undergraduate degree in finance/business/economics. MBA/CMA an asset
  • University degree with at minimum 5 years of experience in a financial planning environment
  • Highly advanced analytical skills with relentless attention to detail
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-paced / performance-driven environment.
  • Strong communication skills along with the ability to convey financial analysis and metrics to management
  • Ability to partner with various cross functional groups and management levels
  • Proven ability to be an effective team leader with strong interpersonal skills
  • Telecom experience a strong asset
