The Manager of the Enterprise Change Management Office (ECMO) will be responsible for building the Enterprise Change Management Office as an enterprise capability and centre of excellence to support large enterprise transformational projects, build a change management community of practice across all business areas and coach and support project and business leaders in their change management roles. It will help the organization recognize the value of change management and its contribution to driving business outcomes, benefits realization, speed of adoption, proficiency and utilization of business solutions.
Working in a hybrid deployment model, the ECMO is a centre of excellence and responsible for CM governance, maintaining corporate methodology (Prosci/ADKAR model) and tools, coaching, and developing CM practitioners and business leaders, and sourcing CM capacity.
In addition, as a key element of role, the Manager, ECMO develops and maintains a community of practice with CM practitioners embedded in business areas across the enterprise. The role has both direct and indirect leadership accountabilities and acts as a consulting, coaching resource for leaders as they support their teams through change.
Collaborative leadership is a key competency which enables the Manager, ECMO build and maintain a strong relationship with business areas critical to the successful execution of an initiative. Excellent communication skills are a critical success factor for the role.
As an experienced CM practitioner, the Manager, ECMO is also capable to step in and allocate capacity, when necessary, to lead the change components of large, transformational enterprise programs.
