Job Information and Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the Director, Recruitment & Marketing, the Manager, Domestic Recruitment & Marketing will:
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge and experience across all Canadian provinces and recruitment functions including school visits, events, marketing and admission advising.
  • Lead a team of full-time members of the domestic recruitment team and provide onboarding, training and mentorship to the team.
  • Lead domestic recruitment and marketing business plans (by province) and related reports for annual submission.
  • Act as the university liaison with domestic ministries of education, school boards and other organizations key to effective recruitment operations.
  • Represent Recruitment and Marketing on a number of institutional committees.
  • Provide back-up to the Director, Recruitment and Marketing regarding advertising and marketing collaboration with internal and external agencies and stakeholders.
  • Conduct cross-Canada travel as needed to support and supervise the domestic recruitment team.
  • Occasional international travel may be required.
Experience and Education Requirements To be the successful Manager, Domestic Recruitment & Marketing you will have:
  • An undergraduate degree.
  • A minimum of three to five (3-5) years related experience.
  • Ability to travel significantly as needed (primarily domestic and some international). Must maintain a valid passport and driver\'s license for travel.
  • Knowledge of recruitment and sales best practices and familiarity with recruitment technology.
  • Previous or current supervisory experience.
  • Significant publishing and management experience with various social media platforms.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse groups in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Strong organizational and team building skills.
  • Experience with Banner is considered an asset.
  • Experience in strategic sales planning, account management, collateral development and/or marketing agency are all strong assets.
