Our head office being located in Boucherville, on the South Shore of Montreal, we know that some of our employees are concerned by the roadwork being carried out in the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel. Our expectations

The Online team is looking for a Manager, Digital Analytics who will report directly to the VP, Omnichannel and Online. The person in this role will be responsible for building and leading a team that will provide in-depth analytics for cross-functional online teams to support online and retail growth.

The incumbent will be responsible for providing data-driven online insights to help Online Merchandising, Online Category Experience, and other online cross-functional teams understand performance and make better decisions. While working as a team, they will understand business objectives or problems, then deliver insights that support a recommendation or solution. The role will also be responsible for creating self-serve analytics and reporting capabilities. The person in this role will also conduct analyses to support teams and guide decisions that include new features, landing page performance, and on-search optimization. They will help identify and prioritize improvements that impact demand, profitability, assortments, pricing, and fulfillment optimizations within Online and Omnichannel. This role will partner with leaders within the Online team to influence business strategies and solve complex problems while acting as a subject-matter expert for online analytics and tools within the company. They will build up and lead a team of direct reports and will be responsible for inspiring, managing, and developing team members.

Your role

  • Use data-driven online analytics and report to help Online Merchandising, Online Category Experience, Online Brand Advocates, and other online teams understand online performance and make better decisions
  • Detect root causes of changes in metrics and effectively communicate these insights to online teams
  • Identify levers to improve key online metrics
  • Create and manage capability to build and automate dashboards and reports
  • Conduct in-depth research and provide quantitative analysis to evaluate new projects and business opportunities by defining metrics and frameworks
  • Collaborate with business owners and leaders to uncover challenges in each line of business and create data-driven solutions to them
  • Mentor and train online teams to use data and tools to improve their performance
  • Build and lead a team of direct reports
  • Inspire, manage, and develop team members
The qualifications we are looking for
  • University degree in Mathematics, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in digital analytics and reporting
  • SQL database skills (an asset)
  • Experience/expertise in using tools such as Power BI (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Analysis Workspace, and Report Builder
  • Experience in web analytics implementation (an asset)
  • Proven ability to deliver insights that guide the business and drive change
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and impact decision-making with cross-functional online teams
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple requests concurrently, while remaining accountable to stakeholders
  • High level of attention to detail and excellent ownership and follow-up skills
  • Excellent listening and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong presence and comfortable interaction with senior business leaders
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with only general guidance
  • Team player with high energy and demonstrated initiative
