What you'll do:

You will also support the strategic initiatives of the CRS, FCL and subsidiaries by help establishing and controlling the relevant IT policies and processes. You will provide leadership and supervision to the Analysts in the IT Control and Governance team and effectively liaise between IT and various stakeholders including Business Units, selected external vendors and internal IT employees.

  • You will be responsible for the hiring, orientation and training of IT Control and Governance analysts. You will define expectations, continually monitor/evaluate results progress, ensure deadlines are met and resolve complaints, discipline and dismissals when required
  • You will work closely with PMO Director and IT Governance and Compliance Analyst to ensure IT PMO and Enterprise PMO framework, processes and methods are successfully and consistently implemented throughout IT Business Unit
  • You will work closely with Senior Controls and Reporting Analyst, IT Directors, and managers to ensure FCL, IT capital and operational budget, and related processes are successfully and consistently implemented throughout IT Business unit
  • You will responsively update and advise VP, Innovation, and IT AVPs on status of enterprise and operational projects and programs in relations to IT control and governance functions.
  • You will help define, develop, implement, and manage the standards and processes to ensure successful onboarding and off-boarding of IT permanent and contract employees.
  • You will ensure that IT Control and Governance team's activities and deliverables are in line with the FCL defined objectives, priorities, values, and strategies.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Information Technology and:
  • You have a University Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields
  • You have a minimum of 5+ years or more years of relevant progressively responsible management, portfolio/project, budget, and internal process management preferably within an IT team experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
  • PMP (project management professional) designation preferred or related number of years of experience in related subject matter areas. Accounting or IT Control related training or designation is considered an asset
