Employer Descriptions:

We are looking for a Project Services Manager to join us in the exciting work we do in Projects & Construction team. Reporting to the Vice President, Projects & Construction, it'll be your responsibility to oversee the strategic planning, processes, procedures, systems, and day-to-day operational oversight of the Information Management, Document Management, Records Management and Project Administration functions.

  • Leadership
  • Manage assigned cost center including budget development during the annual business planning cycle and support the development of the annual business plan.
  • Lead Administrative Services team resources and create staffing plan and forecasts based on business priorities to meet strategic objectives and goals.
  • Create Development Plans with direct reports and assist with the development of other internal stakeholder team members as required.
  • Identify gaps in managed functions, processes and capabilities, and establish contingency plans.
  • Provide leadership in the determination and definition of the quality standards for delivery of the designated project services.
  • Provide administration services guidance and training to ATCO Energy Infrastructure staff in the pursuit of portfolio alignment and ATCO Energy Infrastructure's strategies and goals.
  • Administration Services Expertise
  • Develop, maintain, and regulate Project Administration, Document Management, and Records Management systems, tools, procedures, and work instructions to support a broad range of low-carbon energy projects at various stages of development and execution.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Stewardship
  • Provide a system of governance and appropriate oversight of all aspects of Project Administration, Document Management, and Records Management carried out internally within ATCO Energy Infrastructure, and by associated external engineering, construction, or management service contractors. This includes devising appropriate review and decision-making processes.
Who You Are:
  • Minimum of an undergraduate degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 10+ years' experience in management of administration service functions within an energy owner organization or major project engineering contractor
  • PMP certification is preferred
  • Document management system configuration and implementation experience is an asset
  • Strong energy industry knowledge of major project developments generally, and specifically with respect to engineering, procurement and construction workflows.
  • Familiarity with Project Administration, Document Management, and Records Management industry standards, systems, and best practices.
  • Team building and development skills to assemble and organize the Administration Services functions.
  • Leadership skills to support the Administration Services team and other stakeholders through the effective application of associated processes, procedures and systems.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills to engender positive and effective interaction and exchange of information with a wide variety of project stakeholders.
  • Problem solving skills to enable decisive resolution of conflicts and the removal of obstacles to everyday workflow efficiency.
