Position Summary



The Maintenance Manager will oversee all maintenance activities within a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal equipment performance, providing strong leadership to the maintenance team, and supporting operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities, working closely with the Maintenance Assistant, Planner, and Parts Coordinator to ensure efficient task execution. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime. Manage, optimize, and support the use of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to enhance planning, scheduling, and reporting. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, internal policies, and industry standards. Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and performance management to promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety. Identify and implement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline maintenance processes. Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Establish, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate maintenance performance. Oversee facility maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems. Manage maintenance budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources. Coordinate external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services. Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements. Manage spare parts inventory and maintain effective inventory control to reduce downtime. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and equipment to support operational improvements. Collaborate with Engineering and Leadership teams on capital projects and facility upgrades. Support annual capital planning and budget development. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment through regular communication, professional development, and recognition initiatives.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of five years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to develop, refine, and optimize maintenance programs and systems. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM. Proficiency with CMMS software and maintenance performance metrics. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Solid understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
