The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, as well as ensuring ongoing facility and equipment upkeep. They will play a key role in preventive and corrective maintenance while supporting safety and production goals.

High school diploma/GED required; post-secondary diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a strong asset
Excellent communication skills and strong organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform and oversee emergency and scheduled repairs of machinery, equipment, structures, and facility grounds
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make necessary adjustments
Conduct preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and building systems
Maintain and operate HVAC systems, boilers, pumps, fan units, control panels, thermostats, and other infrastructure
Monitor and maintain environmental safeguards and alarm systems
Plan and manage replacement of major capital expense items such as HVAC systems, roof systems, production equipment, and parking lots
Maintain accurate records related to facility conditions, inspections, and maintenance schedules
Ensure 24/7 availability for emergency maintenance issues
Plan and prioritize maintenance work for self and team, managing supply inventories and requisitions
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance
Perform various plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, and electrical repairs as needed
Ensure compliance with all local, provincial, and federal workplace safety regulations
Prepare monthly reports and contribute to maintenance budgeting
Support and implement continuous improvement and risk management strategies
Stay updated on new technologies and industry best practices
Skills & Competencies:
Ability to understand and communicate detailed instructions in written and verbal form
Demonstrated initiative, leadership, and problem-solving ability
Knowledge of safety standards, contract administration, and building codes
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented with strong time and project management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and diplomatically
Experience managing vendors, contractors, and service agreements
