As Maintenance Manager at TRU by Hilton Yarmouth, you will lead the engineering and facilities team to ensure our property operates safely, efficiently, and in line with Hilton brand standards. You will oversee preventive maintenance, manage repairs, and champion a culture of safety and service excellence that supports both our guests and team members.
Responsibilities
As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:
Property Operations
Directing daily maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back?of?house spaces.
Ensuring HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems are operating at peak efficiency.
Implementing and monitoring Hilton's preventive maintenance programs.
Leadership
Supervising, training, and scheduling maintenance team members.
Inspiring a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Safety & Compliance
Maintaining compliance with building codes, fire safety regulations, and Hilton standards.
Conducting regular inspections and keeping accurate documentation.
Guest Experience
Responding promptly to guest requests and resolving maintenance issues with minimal disruption.
Partnering with housekeeping and front desk teams to ensure rooms and facilities are guest?ready.
Budget & Inventory
Managing departmental budgets and tracking expenses.
Overseeing inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
What Are We Looking For?
A Maintenance Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our guests and team members. To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate:
Previous experience in hotel, property, or facilities maintenance management.
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and respond to emergencies.
Certification in building maintenance, electrical, or HVAC is considered an asset.
