The Opportunity
The Maintenance Administrator is responsible for managing the administrative tasks within a maintenance department, including tracking work orders, scheduling maintenance activities, maintaining equipment records, coordinating with technicians and contractors, generating reports on maintenance operations, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, effectively acting as the central point of contact for all maintenance-related administrative needs.
The Team
This is a permanent full-time position that reports directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities
Purchasing of products and services related to repairs and maintenance of equipment, supplies, vehicles, trailers, production floor assets
Co-ordinate with contractors and vendors for shop floor equipment repairs and maintenance
Administrative support & prioritizing maintenance requests submitted through Upkeep Program
Supporting the Production Manager with appropriate tasks, duties assigned
Track and ensure AGI Contractor Safety Policy Documentation is current
Parts sourcing and purchase for the repair & maintenance of shop equipment, or forklifts
Purchasing of required tools, supplies
Sending out for tools, welders, welding whips, or serviceable tools for servicing, repairs, or warranty repairs
Providing documentation requested for accounts payable for services provided or products ordered for purchase order back up
Track/schedule preventative maintenance tasks and inspections
Follow AGI's Code of Business Ethics and related compliance policies
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years' progressive experience
High attention to detail
High level of organization
Able to learn quickly
