Overview:
The Canada Transport Analyst contributes to PepsiCo Beverages Canada\xe2\x80\x99s success by acting as an integral part of the Canada Transport team, supporting operations and productivity agenda. This role provides both productivity reporting and analytical support of Pepsi, Gatorade and Tropicana Canada Beverages business segments in addition to proactively monitoring business trends and identifying risks and opportunities. The successful candidate will also lead our yearly Common Carrier bid process and be the key contact between us and our freight payment provider. Success in this role will require results-driven behavior, solid organizational skills, intellectual curiosity, analytical thinking, technical strength and the ability work both independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and update period and quarterly Transport costs and forecasts; Analyze and Advise on Risks and Opportunities
  • Leverage and develop tools to assist the business on Transportation costs
  • Manage data for all detail pertaining to $100MM Canada Transport business
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of all period reporting and period transportation accruals
  • Track outcomes of all projects and initiatives
  • Provide all data required for accurate and active participation in yearly Common Carriers bids, yearly AOP process
  • Develop effective relationships with Transport Managers, Finance, Transport HQ and brand HQ contacts as well as freight payment provider
  • Provides business insights by virtue of full network exposure
  • Supports projects initiatives, requests for rates/pricing via reports and presentations
  • Understands and articulates business segments, opportunities and solutions
Qualifications:
  • University degree in Business or Equivalent Business Experience. MBA / Accounting Designation an asset but not required.
  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Tableau, Alteryx knowledge preferred.
  • Very strong competency in data management and Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Superior reporting skills and ability to succinctly present complex information.
  • Transportation industry knowledge or Supply Chain experiences an asset
  • Strong collaboration, influencing, interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills
