Overview

The current position is for a live-in caregiver(4 Days a week).

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Assist with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary. Support clients with dementia care as needed, ensuring comfort and dignity. Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to supervisors.

Skills

Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care setting ,live-in is preferred. Strong background in patient care, including working with individuals with disabilities. Knowledge of caregiving practices, including meal preparation and medication administration. Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining a respectful environment for clients. Compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills to foster relationships with clients and families. Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility needs effectively. Requirements

:

Must have knowledge of how to use a urinal. Must know how to use a Hoyer lift(manual lift) Training is provided; experience is preferred Must be a paitent person. Must have VSC Must have Personal support worker qualifications or equivalent. A driver's license is preferred. Must be able to preform transfer alone.

Pay: $180.00 per day
