You will play a key role in all stages of litigation, including:
Representing clients before courts and tribunals;
Managing a varied caseload across commercial, property, employment, and estate matters;
Drafting pleadings, affidavits, facta, and other court documents;
Conducting examinations for discovery, cross-examinations, and hearings;
Collaborating closely with partners and other associates;
Mentoring summer and articling students; and
Advising clients and developing practical, results-oriented legal strategies.
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
1-10 years of post-call litigation experience;
Strong written and oral advocacy skills;
Ability to independently manage multiple files and deadlines;
Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
A collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for problem-solving; and
Sound business judgment; and
Motivation to excel in the practice of law.
