Legalbird is a boutique family and civil litigation law firm experiencing steady growth, and we are seeking a talented Civil Litigation Associate to join our team. This role will focus primarily on foreclosure and construction litigation, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to manage significant files, appear regularly in court, and work directly with clients on complex and evolving legal disputes.

You will work alongside an experienced team in a supportive environment where mentorship, professional development and advocacy skills are prioritized. Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in court proceedings and dispute-resolution matters Advise clients on legal issues related to civil litigation, foreclosures and bankruptcy laws Prepare and draft pleadings, agreements, and other legal documents Conduct legal research to support case strategy Manage client relationships and maintain clear communication throughout each file

Preferred Skills

Experience in Civil Litigation Working knowledge of LEAP and Clio practice-management systems Fluency in Punjabi (an asset)

Qualifications

Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
