Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Cook Line Cook/Prep Cook/Pizza cook/Dishwasherto join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Italian cuisine. A Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food according to restaurant standards. They work one station on the line (grill, saute, fry, etc.) and ensure dishes are cooked and plated consistently and efficiently during service.The preparation and cooking, with a focus on creating delicious pastries and desserts. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities

Experienced Cook in Italian cuisine and plate dishes to order during service. Maintain a clean and organized station. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist with prep work as needed. Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house. Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and presentation standards. Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new dessert offerings and seasonal specials. Provide excellent service by presenting pastries attractively and responding to customer inquiries about menu items.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment, specifically in pastry or baking roles. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in pastry preparation. A passion for the culinary arts, particularly in creating innovative desserts and pastries.
