We are seeking a skilled and passionate Indian Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to perfection, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality Indian meals according to the restaurant's menu and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and efficient kitchen operations.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate any shortages to the kitchen manager.
Follow recipes accurately while also being able to adapt to special dietary requirements or requests from guests.
Participate in daily kitchen clean-up and maintenance tasks.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential; restaurant experience is highly desirable.
Proven skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation.
Familiarity with culinary techniques and food safety practices is required.
A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
