We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line/Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong foundation in the culinary arts. As a Line/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards. This position requires teamwork, speed, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Duties
Work in all positions of the line, learning to make, plate, and dress all dishes.
Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food storage practices.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and standards during food handling and preparation.
Work in a high-skill, fast-paced, team-based environment.
Utilize culinary skills effectively for various food preparations.
Experience
Background in menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and food service is highly desirable.
Experience in the restaurant or culinary industry is beneficial.
Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
Strength from previous experience in a Line-Based kitchen environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.85 per hour
Expected hours: 18 - 32 per week
