We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all food safety regulations are followed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
Adhere to proper food handling techniques to maintain quality and safety standards.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setup and breakdown of workstations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and meal presentation.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
