We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role involves preparing high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
Ensure all food is stored properly and adheres to food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace throughout the shift.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning duties at the end of the shift.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety standards and practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
