We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow proper food handling techniques to minimize waste and maintain quality. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including meal preparation and plating of dishes.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to learn new skills within the food industry.
