Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage areas.
Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the quality and safety of all food products.
Collaborate with other cooks and kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained properly after use.
Requirements
3 years previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes.
Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
