We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring food safety and maintaining excellent kitchen standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and cooking, with a passion for delivering exceptional food service to our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
Support the kitchen team during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
Adhere to health regulations and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Familiarity with serving guests and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
