We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Line / Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the kitchen by assisting with food preparation and ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Duties

Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including chopping, slicing, and dicing vegetables and proteins. Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in meal preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards throughout all stages of food handling. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth operation during meal periods. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to the kitchen manager. Participate in daily cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with fellow staff members. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in meal preparation.

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
