LINE COOK

Part time hourly position with full time possibility for the right candidate in the near future available in a busy, multi-faceted and progressive restaurant/cafe with a strong focus on wholesome food and sustainable practices.

Work with a great team of trained and dedicated cooks and chefs in a highly acclaimed establishment that is part of a fast growing company.

Dynamic restaurant/cafe with casual lunch service and full service a La Carte evening menus. We cater to everything from small tables to large groups and set menus.
Our Contemporary Lebanese menus combine the sophistication and subtleties of European cuisines with the exotic ingredients of the Middle and Far East.

The successful candidate will have:

Professional kitchen training

- Will have at least 2 years experience with recognized restaurant or hospitality institute. Training will be given

A commitment to quality -

Will understand importance of quality product and presentation and a drive to maintain a high standard of both

A sound understanding of food safety guidelines -

Will have food safe certificate

A strong work ethic

- Will be punctual and work with a sense of urgency in a fast paced kitchen

A Can Do Attitude

- Will be a self-starter who embraces the role and wants to excel

A Respectful attitude

- Will be able to conduct themselves professionally with other staff and customers at all times

An interest in unique food cultures and sustainable practices is beneficial

Rate of pay will be determined by experience. Hourly tip pool share will also be given biweekly.

PREP COOK

Part time hourly position available in busy, multi-faceted and progressive restaurant/cafe with a strong focus on wholesome food and sustainable practices.

Work with a great team of trained and dedicated cooks and chefs in a highly acclaimed establishment that is part of a fast growing company.

Great starting position for someone who wants a career in hospitality

Position is mostly daytime/evening work but some flexibility is beneficial. Two days off per week. Staff meal provided each shift.

The successful candidate will have:

Some kitchen experience

- Training will be given but kitchen experience and good knife skills are preferred

A commitment to quality -

Will understand importance of producing a quality product every time and be able to handle repetitive, but altering tasks

A sound understanding of food safety guidelines -

Will have food safe certificate

A strong work ethic

- Will be punctual and work with a sense of urgency

A Can Do Attitude

- Will be a self-starter who embraces the role and wants to excel

A Respectful attitude

- Will be able to conduct themselves professionally with other staff and customers at all times
