We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation according to recipes and standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
Ensure all food handling practices adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist with plating dishes and garnishing to meet presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts
Follow proper food safety procedures, including temperature checks and storage protocols
Support the kitchen team during busy periods, ensuring smooth operation of the kitchen
Assist with inventory management by notifying supervisors of stock levels and shortages
Experience
Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred
Familiarity with serving, meal preparation, and food handling techniques
Knowledge of kitchen safety practices and food safety regulations
Restaurant experience is highly desirable, especially within fast-paced environments
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in a busy kitchen setting
