We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring
Cook dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation during busy service hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage
Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures at all times
Support the team in meal preparation for special events or catering as needed
Ensure all food served meets quality standards and presentation expectations
Experience
Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety practices is advantageous
Experience with food handling and sanitation standards within the food industry is beneficial
Familiarity with serving guests and managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Strong understanding of meal preparation, food safety regulations, and kitchen operations
