is hiring an
energetic, motivated Cook
to join our team for the 2025-26 ski season!
Our cooks play a key role in creating fresh, delicious meals for guests at our chalet cafe, weekend pub nights, and special events. This position is perfect for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys working with people, and can keep up with a
high-energy, fast-paced kitchen
.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals according to daily menus and event needs
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas
Follow food safety, handling, and sanitation standards
Support the team during
busy peak times
and high-volume service
Assist with prep work, restocking supplies, and end-of-day cleanup
Contribute to creating a welcoming, efficient kitchen environment
Communicate effectively with front-of-house and event staff
What We're Looking For
Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred
Ability to work efficiently in a
very fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
Must be able to work
weekends
and some evenings
Strong multitasking and time management skills
Food Safe and ProServe certification is a requirement

Location:
We're located just 30 minutes from Athabasca and Westlock, 50 minutes from St. Albert, and 1 hour from Edmonton
Hours:
Part-time with opportunity for full-time hours based on events
Season:
Winter 2025-2026 (November to March)
