We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with experience in food preparation and kitchen operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist in meal preparation and ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food service
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during service hours
Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning, stocking, and organizing workstations
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
Knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members
A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow within the food industry
