Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience cooking in a restaurant or professional kitchen
Open availability and reliable transportation
Proficient with kitchen equipment: flattops, fryers, ovens, meat slicers, burners, etc.
Strong knife skills and confidence in preparing a variety of dishes
Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
Excellent time management and multitasking skills
Able to work independently, including opening and closing the kitchen
Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
Experience with catering prep is an asset
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items to standard recipes and presentation
Oversee daily kitchen operations and maintain cleanliness
Assist with catering prep and service as needed
Receive, organize, and store food deliveries
Ensure food quality, portion control, and proper storage procedures
Work effectively during busy periods, including handling rushes independently if required
Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth service
