We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen procedures within a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Cook menu items with precision, ensuring quality and consistency
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
Support the kitchen team during busy hours to ensure timely service
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Ensure all food served meets restaurant quality standards and safety regulations
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
Experience with meal preparation and food handling in a fast-paced setting is advantageous
Strong understanding of the food industry, including kitchen operations and customer service principles
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy kitchen setting
