We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your expertise in food handling and preparation will contribute to our commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Duties
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
Cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food handling practices, food safety standards, and meal preparation techniques is essential.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in a collaborative setting.
Passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills within the food industry.
