We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, providing exceptional service to our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Handle food safely and responsibly, following proper food handling procedures.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Participate in daily cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
