We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. Duties
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Assist in maintaining inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment regularly.
Support the head chef in menu planning and special event preparations.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
