We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
